Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
The short version.We collect the minimum needed to run Polyedge: your account email (via Clerk) and your subscription status (via Stripe). We don’t sell your data. We don’t store your card number. The market data and AI analysis you see are about public events, not about you.
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Polyedge (the “Service,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and prediction-market screener. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms & Conditions.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Service:
- Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and, if you use social sign-in, basic profile details from that provider. Passwords and credentials are managed by Clerk — we never see or store your password.
- Subscription & billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment details; we receive only your subscription status, customer/subscription identifiers, and limited metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage & device data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, to keep the Service secure and reliable.
- Content you request.When you open a market’s AI Analysis, the public market details (question, price, dates) are sent to our AI provider to generate a summary. We do not send your identity to the AI provider.
- Cookies.We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session management (set by Clerk) and payment security (set by Stripe). See “Cookies” below.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- process your subscription, trial, billing, and refunds;
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- generate the AI Analysis you request;
- communicate with you about your account, security, and support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We rely on the following legal bases (where applicable): performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.We share it only with service providers (“sub-processors”) that help us run the Service, each under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
- Clerk — authentication and user management.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Vercel — application hosting, content delivery, and basic analytics.
- Anthropic — AI model provider that generates the AI Analysis from public market data (no account identity is sent).
- Polymarket— public market data is fetched from Polymarket’s APIs; this is outbound data retrieval, and your identity is not sent to Polymarket.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified of any such change).
5. Cookies
We use only strictly-necessary cookies and similar technologies required to log you in, keep your session secure, and process payments. These are set by Clerk and Stripe. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but the Service may not function correctly without the necessary ones.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and subscription information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see “Your Rights”).
7. Security
We use reputable providers and industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, and a strict Content-Security-Policy) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights, and — because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To exercise any right, email support@polyedgepro.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. International Transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers of personal information.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended only for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service links to third-party sites (for example, individual markets on Polymarket). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
